Ongoing Education for Brokers & Agents 

For over 20 years, the Workers’ Compensation Trust has been working directly with Connecticut's independent agents and brokers to provide their healthcare clients with outstanding workers' compensation coverage and superior education and training programs.  Now we’re expanding our educational services to include continuing education and new license classes for agents and brokers.

  

Trust Academy for Insurance Professionals is a licensed provider with the State of Connecticut to afford licensing, CE, law & ethics and professional insurance designation courses i.e., ARM, ACSR, AAI, AINS as well as new programs which will assist us in building even stronger relationships with our agents and brokers. Our Training Center is in Wallingford and provides state of the art resources to support the upcoming curriculum. 

Trust Academy is also offers offsite training at your facility.  If you are interested in having Ed conduct training for your staff at your office, please email Ed Meaney.  

Academy Coordinator

Ed Meaney, CPCU, of Think Beyond, LLC coordinates Trust Academy. Ed has over 42 years experience in the insurance industry and his  teaching resume includes: University of New Haven, Southern Connecticut State University, Hartford  Graduate Center, The American Institutes, and most recently Educational Director for Independent Insurance Agents of  Connecticut in Wethersfield. He is an active member in the Society of CPCU as well as a member the Hartford chapter of the Professional  Liability Underwriters.  We are delighted to have Ed on board to spearhead this very exciting addition to the Trust lineup.
