The Bureau of Labor Statistics notes that 76% of all workplace violence in private industry occurs in the Healthcare and Social Assistance Business Sector. Additionally, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration notes that working alone, in community-based settings, at night or in the early morning hours puts employees at much greater risk.
