Attorney Heidi Lane, Connecticut Department of Labor. Attorney Lane will discuss Connecticut’s new paid and unpaid FMLA laws, one year after implementation, including employer and employee rights and obligations. She will also discuss the interplay of the leave laws and provide insight into how to avoid a FMLA complaint filed with the Connecticut Department of Labor.

Employer’s ADA Obligations, Reasonable Accommodations and the Interactive Process.

Attorney Pari will address workplace issues that arise under the ADA and the interplay between the ADA with the FMLA, including an employer’s obligation reasonably accommodate a disabled employee and engage in the interactive process.
