October 31st and November 7th

Participants must attend both sessions, for the entire time, to receive their OSHA-10 General Industry card.
Please ensure you can attend both the classes as we are not able to offer make-up classes. 

Are you new to safety or to understanding OSHA standards? Or do you want a refresher in safety hazards and preventative actions? Come join us for the OSHA-10 General Industry class. The class will provide training in common safety and health hazards and protective measures for general industry exposures.

Specifically, this course will cover the following topics:  Introduction to OSHA, Walking and Working Surfaces including fall protection, Emergency Action Plans, Electrical, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, Materials Handling, Introduction to Industrial Hygiene, Permit Required Confined Spaces, and Asbestos and Lead Awareness. 

Learning Outcomes:

  •          Review the common general industry hazards and controls.
  •          Gain a better understanding of OSHA.
  •          Provide an overview of OSHA Standards that apply to General Industry.
  •          Review resources for keeping yourself and team members safe.

Facilities and Maintenance Team Members and Managers, supervisors, safety personnel, and anyone that wants to learn more about OSHA regulations. This class will be especially beneficial for organizations with facilities and/or maintenance teams or for those that want to understand more about OSHA regulations.

This class will be taught by Trust Senior Loss Control Consultants and guest speakers from CONN-OSHA.
