Taught by Trust staff, this NEWLY CREATED class will provide attendees with the tools and resources needed to effectively conduct safety program audits and facility inspections along with identifying responsible parties, for the purposes of preventing accidents and injuries. Additionally, we will teach participants how to create a document source that will help anyone in your agency easily identify where your written safety programs are kept along with ownership assignments. Our goal is to also provide ideas that can help with employee engagement throughout these processes.

Through an interactive portion of the class, participants will be able to discuss obstacles for auditing programs and determine solutions to the self-inspection process. The class will also provide attendees with numerous resources, including checklists for auditing programs and inspecting facilities.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand why self-inspections are vital to your organization
  • Review how to assess your organization for potential hazards
  • Create a document locator to track programs and share with the Management Team
  • Understand how to conduct inspections and who should perform them
  • Review resources that are available to everyone
