Come see the variety of assistive devices and adaptive equipment and meet our vendors who will demonstrate the devices in addition to providing you an opportunity to use them. In this interactive IN PERSON session taught by Trust staff, ProCare Medical and Lifeway Mobility, you will learn techniques to keep individuals and employees safe. Whether your employees provide care to individuals in long or short-term care, assisted living, in the community, home or school, there is the potential for injury. And the consequences of these work-related musculoskeletal injuries among your employees could be devastating. With the ever increasing demands on caregivers today, you must now rely on technology to make patient handling and movement safe. Repeated movement of patients manually such as heavy lifting, transferring and repositioning in extremely awkward postures causes overexertion, resulting in injury.
