Kitchen safety awareness is crucial during food preparation and cooking, as well as during clean-up. Understanding the hazards present in the kitchen we work in can help you avoid causing an accident or subjecting your residents/clients/individuals to a bout of food poisoning. Kitchen staff face a variety of challenges and exposures for maintaining a safe work environment. Some exposures as we know are unique to some kitchens while other share common hazards and at the same time some OSHA regulations apply to both. This webinar is designed to assist with the identification of safety hazards and controls which can be implemented to reduce injuries.
