Safety Workshop Series: Part 2 - Respiratory Protection

We are pleased to introduce a NEW series of safety classes; the Safety Workshop Series. This series is intended to assist you with creating, developing and updating your safety programs to ensure that you are effectively protecting your employees and conforming to OSHA regulations as OSHA requires site specific programs and trainings. This series will highlight specific safety programs that impact the majority of our members and clients.
In this hands-on workshop employers whose workers are exposed to hazardous airborne particles or biological agents which now includes many types of organizations due to the pandemic. This session will teach attendees how to complete a hazard assessment specific to these exposures and is the necessary first step in the compliance process. Participants will also be taught step-by-step each section of written program. And finally once the program is written the site specific training requirements for your employees.
- How to complete a hazard assessment and respirator selection
- Develop and understand the major requirements of the respirator program including medical evaluations, fit testing, training, program evaluation and recordkeeping
- Developing a site specific program
- Developing a site specific employee training program
Anyone in the organization who has responsibility for the development and training pertaining to the Respiratory Protection program including; DONs, Administrators, Facility/Operations Managers, HR and Staff Development
