Safety Workshop Series: Part 1-Hazard Assessment
Cost: Free to Members and Self-Insured Clients
We are pleased to introduce a NEW series of safety classes; the Safety Workshop Series. This series is intended to assist you with creating, developing and updating your safety programs to ensure that you are effectively protecting your employees and conforming to OSHA regulations as OSHA requires site specific programs and trainings. This series will highlight specific safety programs that impact the majority of our members and clients.
The cornerstone to an effective safety and loss control program is understanding the hazards at your establishment. Whether your employees work in one place or throughout the community it is essential for you to understand the risks that they face and ensure that you have the proper safety programs in place. This class is the first in our workshop series which will take Members through the process of assessing their hazards and writing or updating their programs. In this interactive workshop, we will take you through a series of exercises to carefully determine the hazards at your establishment. Subsequent Workshops will demonstrate how to create specific programs based upon the hazard assessments.
