Navigating the Relationship Between Paid and Unpaid FMLA

Taught by Heidi Lane, Director, Legal Division Connecticut Department of Labor, this educational session will discuss the big changes to Connecticut FMLA that will begin on January 1, 2022. Employers with one or more employees will be subject to both the CT FMLA and the CT Paid Leave program. There are many similarities between the two laws but there are also important distinctions. They will be examined during this program. Time has been allotted for questions and answers during the session.
