Did you know that there is an OSHA standard under which ladder safety falls? It is 1910.23, Walking-Working Surfaces. Do you know what is required under the standard? The American Ladder Institute has declared March as National Ladder Safety Month in an effort to raise awareness of ladder safety at home and at work and to decrease the number of ladder-related injuries and fatalities. According to the American Ladder Institute, every year over 100 people die in ladder-related accidents and thousands suffer disabling injuries. In fact, falls are the second leading cause of death next to highway crashes. This webinar taught by Trust staff will provide attendees with the information to make employees and the workplace safer and to learn what is required under the standard.
