This program, taught by John Letizia, Managing Partner, Letizia Ambrose & Falls, will assist employers in expanding their diversity efforts by providing practical information on proper employment practices as it relates to the hiring process. This includes the wording for and placement of advertisements and the application process. How to prepare for the interview as well as the interview itself including a list of lawful and potentially unlawful questions relating to each of the protected categories (e.g., race, religion, age, etc.). It will cover the post-interview; documentation, reference and background checks and will provide information concerning the broader definition of harassment based on protected categories.
