This product support program enhances the Trust’s mission of providing programs and services “that result in a safe and more cost-effective work environment for our members/clients and their employees.” Particular products are chosen because we believe they are cost effective and designed with quality materials.

These are the top three accident types among healthcare workers, generally resulting in sprain and strain injuries. According to the Connecticut Department of Labor, strain and sprain injuries resulting in the greatest percentage of days away from work compared to other injuries.
The Trust understands that members may have few resources or time to research products designed to assist in injury reduction. Once a product has been identified as meeting our objectives, the Trust will negotiate a discount on behalf of our members who may choose to purchase the product directly from the manufacturer or supplier. A Trust supported product does not oblige a member to purchase a product. The Trust is not being paid by the seller or manufacturer for supplying this product or offering the product. This program is a Trust service to help members control accidents and injuries which is a benefit of all members of the Trust.
As in the case of all purchases for your organization-each member should separately research the product to ensure it is appropriate for use by your employees and make certain they are trained on how to use the product before actual usage.
